About Sustainability
With a vision to "Lead the way in sustainable insurance and ensure the happiness of society," Cathay Life will uphold the core competency of being people-oriented and the sustainability principle of reciprocity ("benefiting oneself by benefiting others") . By establishing strategic priorities, organizational systems, and engaging with stakeholders, we systematically drive sustainability initiatives. We aim to harness the power of corporate citizenship, inviting colleagues to implement sustainability through four stages: awareness, identification, participation, and promotion. We invite the public to join us in constructing Taiwan's sustainable competitiveness.
Strategies and Goals
Establishing three main sustainability objectives—climate, health, and empowerment—along with six strategic directions and their corresponding short-term objective attainment status.
Sustainability Organization
In 2016, Cathay Life established the Cathay Life "Corporate Sustainability Group Team" (CS Team), and followed Cathay Financial Holdings "Corporate Sustainability Guidelines."
