We launched the smart management system "Hub New-Generation Office Service," upgrading from a green landlord to an intelligent green landlord. In addition to providing green electricity to tenant companies, the system also helps them monitor environmental quality and building energy usage in real time, driving industry transformation and opening up new possibilities for achieving net zero.

Cathay life’s Responsible Property Investment and Management Policy prescribed that real estate investments must engage in proper utilization of earth’s resources to improve the performance of its real estate holdings, and properly manage investment and operating risks.
Since 2016, Cathay has ensured that all architectural designs commissioned for development-related investments conform to green building design principles. All real estates have reached a certain standard for energy use, greening, and waste indicators, and all new buildings have obtained the green building certification or LEED certification since 2023.
Focus story
Starting in 2023, all newly constructed buildings with building permits have obtained U.S. LEED certification or other green building certifications. As of 2024, the total amount invested and financed in green building development reached approximately NT$84.1 billion.
