  • Emergency Assistance and Home Visits
    Since 2009, Cathay volunteers across Taiwan have been conducting care visits to vulnerable families and individuals, providing the most immediate support. Through these personal visits, volunteers aim to help them overcome life's challenges and navigate through difficult times.
• Elder Friendly
  • Cathay Happiness Farms
    In order to boost self-esteem of the elderly and increase their opportunities of social interaction, we have worked with long-term care organizations to build Cathay Happiness Farms, thereby creating barrier-free vegetable gardens where the elderly can perform suitable agricultural activities. These activities help the elderly rediscover themselves and simultaneously foster a friendly natural environment.
  • Fraud Prevention Board Game
    Cathay Life volunteers around Taiwan have also cooperated with police departments all around Taiwan to introduce the Anti-Fraud Squad Board Game in local communities. By playing this game, older people in local communities can learn about common types of fraud while having fun. This helps them safeguard what they have earned through hard work.
  • USR for the Elderly
    Cathay Life has cooperated with the University Social Responsibility (USR) program of the University of Taipei. Light Up Health and Vitality of Urban Elderly, lead them to exercise happily with peace of mind, and enjoy life by aging healthily.
• Summer Blood Donation Campaign
  Since 2000, we have partnered with the Taiwan Blood Services Foundation to gather the passionate donations of employees, policyholders, and community members across Taiwan, contributing to a more stable blood supply for medical use in the country.
• Giving Warmth in Winter
  Since 2002, we have organized the "Cathay Charity Group - Warm Winter Care Series" to provide tangible support and care for rural schoolchildren during the cold winter months.

Focus story

• As of 2024, 5 "Cathay Happiness Farms" have been established, creating a space for seniors to build a fulfilling and beautiful life in their later years.
• As of the 2024 summer blood donation campaign, nearly 640,000 units of blood have been collected.
• In 2024, we took concrete action by visiting 154 rural elementary schools across Taiwan, spreading love and support to 12,500 schoolchildren.
