Organizational Structure
The President is the committee member responsible for supervising the team's operations; supervisors of the vice president level and above serve as the executive officers and direct affairs of the six subordinate working groups, each headed by a supervisor of the vice president level and above who are responsible for managing the department heads and members in charge of execution. CS Team attends the FHC-level CS meeting each quarter, and also convenes routine quarterly meetings to monitor the progress and implementation status of objectives of each working group.
Board of Directors Supervision
To ensure the Board of Directors oversees the implementation of corporate sustainability, Cathay Life Insurance follows Cathay Financial Holding's “Corporate Sustainability Guidelines”. Major annual sustainability development strategies and execution progress are compiled and reported to the board semi-annually. Topics covered include: environmental issues (such as carbon reduction, environmental education), social issues (such as diverse protections, treating customers fairly), and corporate governance (such as legal compliance, risk management). This allows the directors to participate and supervise the company's sustainability performance.
Issuing of the Sustainability Report
We issue a Sustainability Report each year to strengthen our information disclosure. Furthermore, we communicate the values of sustainability to customers, employees, competent authorities, and suppliers through internal and external channels.
